Some of you may have become members too recently to remember a particular member who used to post here as Marc Grayson (not his real name, but that's neither here nor there). Some of you may remember him but may have forgotten exactly what he did here. I won't go into specifics, but suffice it to say that his libels, his ad hominem attacks on anyone who dared to disagree with him or to point out his lies or his ignorance, and his propensity for creating multiple users to create the illusion of broad-based support for his opinions are without parallel on this board. He was banned last September. Andy offered to allow him back on the board if he apologized for his behavior and eschewed his multiple users, his libels, and his ad hominem attacks. Grayson could not be troubled to respond.

Instead, he embarked on a campaign to create as many users as he could and to disrupt the orderly conduct of the board as much as possible, sometimes from his work, sometimes from his home, sometimes from a Kinkos. (Can you imagine that? Slipping out of his house or his office so that he can spam a forum about clothing?) To date, he has created literally thousands of aliases.

A few months ago, Andy lodged a detailed, formal complaint with his ISP. Then the trolling stopped. For a while. A few days ago, Marc came back, with a brand new ISP. Apparently he is shelling out and additional $50 a month or so just so that he can spam this board. New complaints are being filed, and will continue to be filed.

Also, when we switched servers, we were able to activate a feature that requires new members to use a legitimate email address. That means that every time "grayson" signs up a new user name, he also has to sign up a brand new hotmail or yahoo account. Every time. A few days ago, he had five going at once. We had thought that this would discourage him, but it appears not to be the case.

This thread will serve as a chronicle of his abusive behavior. At such time as he stops, this thread will go away. If he comes back, it will come back.
