My boss just asked me to buy some nice, lightweight jackets that we'll hand out to customers and VIPs. Any thoughts on good brands? I am looking in the $60-$100 per piece range. My initial thought was Northface. Please help!

As the purpose here is impressing your customers and clients, you will probably want to opt for name recognition in favor of obscure quality brands - so Northface probably fits the bill.

In your price range, consider Port Authority. Their website shows jackets. My experience is with their logo polos. I have one each from my university alumni association and a high-end firearms academy. Neither shirt was outrageously expensive, and both have held up for at least three seasons.

Land's End. Absolutely. I think their Squall jacket is almost universally liked.
