Loft and Tung have the Kingsley Utah leather jumper bootin my size now.

I have a Scotch Grain derby boot already. It’s Carmina’s but calf leather and also a cap toe. The loft and Tung’s only attribute is the Utah leather. I’m not even that fond of the sole protrusion, but love an almond shaped boot.

I have absolutely no reason to buy it. But for the Utah leather. It doesn’t fill any niche and would be doing duplicate work with the Carmina. I dont care about the money, I just perseverate over the logic of purchasing the same looking boot. But it’s Utah leather. Will that mean I’ll never wear the Carmina? What a waste. I guess I could sell the Carmina, but I have no experience with Loft and Tung, are they comparable in quality? Does it really matter since I am going to die before any of my footwear fails?

OR forget this and join a G&G Thorpe GMTO instead. You’ve long needed a pair of G&G in your life.

I also don’t recall you talking about split toe derbies, which means you probably have another hole in your collection. I have ideas about that as well.

I'm not aware of Carmina ever offering Utah, nor have I seen it on a boot at this price point. I've said before that I think this boot is a screaming deal, and that opinion hasn't changed. I'd said grab the Utah and sell the Carmina.

Nice!
I had not heard of that maker, but will investigate further......
And well done with the artistic setting. It must have taken hours to get those leaves just right.
