I took pants in for hemming and the tailor inseamed them to 30”, I’m 36”.
What is my recourse? Will they pay me for the price of the item?
They were brand new unhemmed Bullard Twill.
Anybody interested in a pair 32W 30L? I’ve got a great deal for you.

You could wear them as Capri pants.

Just out of curiosity, Slim Jim, how did the tailor explain this screw-up? Being off by 6 inches takes some doing.
