Tailor in L.A. area?

I recently bought a nice suit from Roger Stuart in Downtown L.A., for the price they charge $399.00, seems like there has to be some kind of catch or something about their suits that I don't know about. Anyway I tried to have the pants brought in at the waist, I wear a 44 suit but my waist is more like a 35 or 36 (bodybuilder physique). The waist is now in a V like shape in the back where they were brought in. I figure this means that the pants will need to be recut. I am tired of going to dry cleaners to have my clothes altered. Can someone reccommend an exceptional tailor, I live in West L.A.
