Can anyone tell me why certain stores, especially discounters insist on putting huge magnetic sensors on the front of or other prominent places on delicate merchandise? I understand the need for security but even better discount stores/outlets know to put them on the bottom thru a seam. I bought 2 dress shirts that even at huge discounts were about $75 each and both need to go back as the sensors left holes right on the front. I was cringing as the clerk yanked them out. Even if the hole is very small I will always know its there hence my reluctance to keep them. My opinion is that even if an employee is unfamiliar with a certain name brand common sense dictates that any thin cotton shirt will be damaged under such conditions.
