More and more men are wearing pinstripe suits in casual situations these days. I'm not referring to chalk stripes which probably look better in the boardroom, but pinstripes. The trick is to pick other items to wear with it that don't look like they belong in a business meeting. The suit itself is fine.

For example, here is a pic of Indy Car Champion Dario Franchitti in a blue pinstripe suit with his wife, the always lovely Ashley Judd.

I cannot count the times I have seen a lovely young women in a cocktail dress and their husband/date in full amjack mode (untucked stiped shirt and jeans).
You would, of course, be referring to guys like George Clooney

or perhaps Harrison Ford

I say that if one guy who clearly isn't Cary Grant or Fred Astaire wants to copy the style of Grant or Astaire in his own attire, there's nothing wrong with the next guy, who isn't George Clooney or Harrison Ford, copying the style of Clooney or Ford. Whatever floats your boat.

Don't anybody get mad. Just having some fun on Saturday morning.
