I am and management consultant and travel frequently. A proper suit is my uniform, and I am constantly flying from place to place, or running a suit to the cleaners. I find that my suits have little longevity (iron shine, excessive wear in the upper thighs/crotch area of the trousers, stressed fabrics, etc.)
Does anyone have some good tips for saving a suit when you're on the road?
If you travel 60%+ of the time, and you wear a suit daily, how do you prolong the life of your suits, and how often do you get them dry cleaned?
I fear that my suits face premature death at the hands of the dry cleaning solvents.

Any helpful hints are appreciated!
Those who know do not talk, and those who talk do not know.
