This is a (used) Canali from Vassi in 40r. Shoulders seem a tad long. Would narrowing the sleeves fix the divots? The pad extends maybe 3/4 to an inch past the acromion. Perhaps the arm hole needs to be reduced?

Not bad! The shoulders don't look too wide to me. It's okay if the shoulders extend past your actual shoulders. Shoulder width does not cause divots; sleeves do. I think the problem with the divots has to do with the sleeve pitch. Sleeves need to be removed and rotated to match the way.

It seems that suit was tailored to fit someone else and poorly done so.
Too tight across the blades causing ripples. Poorly suppressed at the waist, again, rippled. Sleeve pitch off and poorly fitted to the armsyce. At least the jacket is of decent length. Mind my asking what you paid for it? You did say it was used.

It needs pressing. Once done, retake/repost the pictures and you will get more accurate feedback.
Yeah it'll be here on Monday. Holy crap you guys are totally right! The pitch! The waist! No!

Actually, many of the OTR jackets I've tried on fit similarly. Sizing up usually fixes the dimples and wrinkles and such, however everything is simply too large?

So are those tufts appearing near the seams a result of a poor cut/sewing performance? Who would be so careless to the integrity of the cleanliness of the suit itself? The suit will be picked up tomorrow morning however I realize the sleeves are still in a horrid state. Gonna go NWT next time.

Can I take you with me the next time I have a suit tailored. Most tailors, even some of the better ones I've worked with, resist doing this for some reason. They have all sorts of reasons, but it usually takes some cajoling to get them to do it. And when they do - and it looks great when you go back days later to pick it up - they are all smiles about their work.

Thank you! Your image has provided me with a broad grin.

This forum needs more foxes!

Here's a shot of the subtle beast who inhabits a den in the thicket overlooked by my bachelor pad:

One of my favorite things about the English is their love of foxes. I'm not really with you guys on tea, but I'm there on the foxes.

Gosh, need I iron this out every time I want to wear it? Sheesh.

The pants pictured aren't the ones for the suit. I had considered putting a shirt on and such but decided "I'm just gonna throw a quick post together for some feedback". Generally, the pressing took care of most of the tufting and wrinkling, however as I said before this thing wrinkles pretty quickly and it quickly loses it's sheen.

Might need to be brought in a half inch or so. The shoulders may be just slightly too wide but whatever. I'll be tapering the trousers as well, thank you.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the bloodcurdling scream of said fox just a couple of nights ago whilst lounging outside with my little Yorkshire. Pretty neat.

I would definitely NOT mess with the jacket anymore; for a secondhand suit originally tailored for someone else it's more than fine for you, including the shoulders, which look fine. Taper the trousers, sure, but as mentioned (and I agree) I'd suggest little/no break would look great. I'm a cuffs person but I think this would look good either way. Congrats, it looks nice.

I'm 28 so I have a pass, right?
Not necessarily. The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDoT) does not hand out passes automatically. Users of the public transportation system in Detroit have to affirmatively buy passes, even users who are 28 years of age. So unless you bought a pass then no, you wouldn't have one.

Look in the upper right-hand drawer of your desk, beneath all those old checking account statements. Maybe you'll find your pass there, if indeed you purchased one. Or it could be in the kitchen drawer with all those extra batteries. If you do need to buy another pass, call the DDoT at (313) 933-1300; they'll be able to tell you the most convenient place where you can get one. Because you are neither a senior nor (presumably) disabled, the cost of a monthly "GoPass" for you would be $47.00. (You can buy a weekly GoPass for $14.40, and a 5-day pass for $14.00.) You will need to carefully assess your public transportation needs in order to buy the pass that will be the best value for you.

Please note that both your Yorkshire terrier and that fox who's squatting on your property are allowed to ride the bus with you, on the condition that they are trained service animals.

If they are not trained service animals, they will still be able to ride with you if you sneak them onto the bus. You can pull that off if your dog and the fox are each wearing sunglasses and a Detroit Tigers T-shirt and ball cap. And tiny flip-flops. (But only on their hind feet so that they won't attract attention.) And you'll have to pay their fares.

If you have further questions regarding your pass, please call the Detroit Department of Transportation at the number I cited above. Of course, questions about sunglasses, Detroit Tigers T-shirts and ball caps, and tiny flip-flops may be posed right here in this fine clothing forum.
