1+ There is a white silk suit made in Spain hanging in one of my closets that would be similarly good. And one may imagine many other jacket and trouser combinations that would work well with an ivory suede shoe. There is a suede casual jacket and a silk casual jacket such as one might wear on a cool summer evening for a ball game or a walk with the dogs in a flat cap and jeans or twill, casual shirt. Hey, today there was an 80's Armani silk and wool blend sport coat in my hands that would have been a great kind of complement to a nice ivory suede shoe that I didn't get for reasons of excessive hard use. I fail to see the problem, I see opportunity.
But it is always best to consider the preferences on one's beloved spouse in these matters. It does not serve a gentleman well to fail to find favor in the heart of the one he is pledged to treasure above all others.

As stated, they're summer shoes. But I'd expand things with which the can be worn to include tropical wool in light shades. Dove grey, light tan, and other light colors slacks. However, wool suits can be tricky, though if the color is light enough, it should work. Such as an ice cream suit.

 

I'm wearing these light beige suede shoes today. They are IMO dreadfully hard to wear.

I would buy 10 pair of brown suede shoes before buying these or a pair of ivory or off white. They are just not that versatile and brown shoes generally fit more ensembles.

You are in no way fully outfitted in the brown suede shoes department yet

I don't know. The shoes would then be much lighter than the pants, which is something I'm hesitant to wear.
