I'll try posting my question here instead of starting a new thread. I apologize in advance if it turns into a "hijack."

For my sports blog, I need to find a mask where I'm in compliance, but where it doesn't fog up my glasses. (I write play by plays and need to see the action in detail.)

Can anyone recommend a mask that does its job and also avoids steaming up glasses? I'm okay for everyday use with a bit of steam as I see OK without my glasses as long as I'm not driving. However, for the distance from a football pressbox or basketball bleacher, I need my (hopefully unsteamed) glasses.

Just curious if anyone has an idea. If the right mask is expensive, I may buy a few of them anyway.

I wear glasses and a buff works for me. I also find breathing in through the nose and out the mouth works best. It keeps some of the moisture away. Once it turns cold though, fogging is going to be an issue for us all.

I might consider trying contacts again

Here is a thought that strikes me as a potential solution. If you remove your glasses and use a pair of light binoculars (I have several Nikons that are made for birdwatching) or even opera glasses, they will prevent steaming, and also give you a clear, and enlarged view of the game action. If you want both hands free, and/or want a very stable, steady view, you may have to rig up a stand of some sort. But it will certainly solve the steaming problem.

A functionally similar solution might be to keep your glasses, but make some sort of barrier between the lower rims of each" eye-piece" and your cheeks, which will sit flush against the cheeks and prevent your breath from creeping up and fogging the lenses. One will have to experiment with different materials, I imagine.

I am trying masks with vents and PM 2.5 filter. or the TieBar.com mask with filters and nose piece. the Vent does seem to help with my glasses.
