If there is one modern fashion trend I hate, it is square toe shoes. I would estimate that nearly 75% of the men I see in Chicago under aged 40 or so are wearing these (assuming they are wearing any kind of dressy shoe, that is). Not only do I not think these look stylish, I think they look horrid. It's like somebody took a size 13 and sheared 3 inches off the front to turn into a size 10. Is this something that one sees everywhere, or is it just a Chicago thing?

PS: I don't mind something more subtle and tasteful, like the Crockett and Jones 337 last.
