I have owned these Meermin's for a few years without issue. The other week, however, I cleaned them with Saddle Soap and then applied Saphir Renoveateur and some cream polish and then I noticed these spots in the vamp. They don't appear when I use Saddle soap, but are noticeable when I apply conditioner and polish. Is there an easy way to salvage this (it's making me self conscious)?

It sounds and looks like they've absorbed a little moisture from three different products. After they fully dry, this should disappear.

If the spots are still evident, this far down stream (two days), the problem is not moisture build up, but rather an over abundance of product applied to the affected area of the shoe(s). How is the shoe looking today? ;)
