Hoping some of you gentleman could give me a hand with this. I just purchased what was advertised as a Southwick gray suit. When I examined the suit I was very disappointed with the construction. The suit appears to be fused and I thought Southwick only carried canvassed garments. The pant seemed to be of poor quality as well. The material was also less impressive, of a hand one might find in a department store such as Hecht's or Macy's. The tag on the suit read Southwick, bemberg linning, all wool, wentworth 7287 Lot9741 union made in USA of imported fabric. No hand work on the suit at all, button holes are machine made, no cross stitching on the buttons, no pick sitching on the lapel or collar. Suit seems to be of a summer wieght. Is there any way to verify authenticity.
