I know the following question involves gross generalisations, but, when wearing a well-fitting suit, ought I be able to raise my arm laterally without the shoulder moving up?

I assume that even the highest of the high armholes (which cut is that, by the way?) lifts up the shoulder slightly unless you were to have pleats under the arm or something like that.

At afternoon funerals, wear a frock coat and top hat. Should the funeral be your own, the hat may be dispensed with.
