Following up a recent thread on J. Press grosgrain belts, I too have received my spring/summer J. Press catalog and am intrigued by the belts. I've never worn one so I have a few questions as to the "rules":
(1) When does one wear them?
Seems that they are appropriate only for spring/summer and are casual daytime wear.
(2) Where?
Is it appropriate for business casual settings? Or perhaps traditionally they were meant for specific sporting occasions (tennis perhaps)?
(3) How?
Should they be matched to a tie, shirt, jacket or is the point not to match given their colorfulness?
