I have been looking at shoe polishes and wondering which one I should use. I have a black pair of loafers and i'd like to use some maroon/ dark red polish/ shoe cream. I also wear this light brown pair of bluchers and i'd like to do something with the too.

I'm not even sure what I should use. What brand, conditioner or polish?

Well, I did hear something about the brand Meltonian. I, being the remembering person that I am, don't know if it was good or bad.

Please, steer me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Jordan.

I have seen some that have had this same treatment and I really liked the way they looked
I guess that I'm not seeing how the red will overlay the black. Are you sure that you aren't thinking of a dark-red/cordovan/burgandy shoe that has been 'antiqued' with a black polish?

For me, Meltonian to touch up color or Kiwi for shine. Depends on the condition of the shoe.
