Here is a good example of what I'm looking for:
Outerwear Coat Dress shirt Tartan Neck

It has a youthful character to it. I bought it from Timberland several years ago but they don't make them like this anymore. I've bought from Banana Republic too. Their shirts are good however generally not as sexy as I like and also they crease easily.
Any brand recommendations?

Sometimes you learn to make your own stuff. The learning part is a mess. Takes forever, because you're learning. You're ripping out seams and trying to sew correct the next time. Fat chance. Eventually, when you are finally done you can beautiful shirt. The next shirt, if you sew it fairly soon after, will go much faster. If you go to all that trouble you'll want to ponder out a fitting. Which means you have to cut the shirt bigger, of known amounts, in case you need to move the seam out on part of it. The fittings are sewn with seams that are easily taken out. Once the fitting is finished you'll want to correct the pattern. After all, you don't want to make the same mistakes again. The next time around you might refine the pattern again. For some people this is a worthy talent and hobby.
