So when you're making your purchasing decisions, which are you more likely to shell out additional $$$ for?

I find that I'm willing to spend a bit more relative to average prices for shirts than I am for pants. My reasoning being that people should be noticing your shirt signficantly more than your pants.

As always, it depends.

But I agree: People will see your shirt more than your pants. Fit is paramount in a shirt, and not always easy to get right. This can cost extra -- but it's worth it.

However, I'm currently struggling with getting the length right on my khakis, so I've actually been paying extra for tailors and dry cleaners to play with them. Ugh.
