Hello dear fellow,
I am a young chap, Asian, who is (unfortunately) a bit on the heavy side. It is actually not such a terrible concern, except it is paired with an extraordinarily large head (I have provoked many bemused comments thusly) and an equally short and wide neck.
I have fiddled with the standard suggestion of straight-point collars; they don't quite work. Recently I picked up a cutaway (Londoner) collared shirt, and it seems to induced a significant improvement. Partly I believe that because the collar is lower-set, the neck is actually showing.
I believe it has been suggested for the distance between the two collar points to match the width of the head.
Please discuss.
