Flipping through the showtime channels early this am, stopped on one of those Franky and Annete flicks from the 60s, "How to stuff a wild bikini". Micky Rooney and another fellow (dont ask me what they were doing, couldnt pick up the plot) were wearing 3 pc suits with bowlers, then at an evening function they both appeared in black tie: black trousers, black shoes, white shirt, black bow tie, with a shawl collar 1 button DJ in blue & white seersucker!
What do you afficianados think of that style variation?
Come to think of it I may have seen a madras shawl collar dj at a club dance once.
Anyway, silly movie of course, but some sartorial footnotes worth mentioning.
