I would be most appreciative of any assistance in this search. Several years ago my father obtained a very thin rigid frame briefcase. It was not of soft construction like a portfolio, although the leather itself was incredibly soft. It was of Italian manufacture, from a supplier that had reportedly gone out of business. Medium tan in color, quality brass fittings and less than two inches in exterior thickness. Leather with a hand so soft you'd think it was made for gloves. Just the right amount of padding benath the leather. Useless for carrying more than a thin sheath of papers. Perfect for carrying a single page contract to a meeting with a client. Dripping with elegance. I think he paid about $500.00 for it at the time. And of course my father has one and I don't. Any assiatnce in finding anything that is close to this would be most apprecuated.
