I'm sure I'm mangling all the terms here, but you don't mind much, do you?
I recently bought a suede shirt-jacket to be part of my new casual outfits, and I like it a lot, but it seems a little odd to me to wear a coat with a collar (as opposed to lapels like one might find on a blazer or sport coat), with a shirt with a collar (as opposed to crewnecks and v-necks). Aside from the practical consideration of crushing a point collar shirt under your coat, it just seems weird to have two collars.
Any thoughts on this? Am I just being obsessive (well, I am, but in a bad way?)?
