I got a tear in the back of the thigh of the pants from a Navy main-line BB suit that I bought a little over a year ago.
Do you think I can get a new pair with a good-enough match to save the suit from Brooks ?

I will absolutely try that, THANK YOU. I already emailed them.
It is a conservative navy-blue suit that I can get a lot of use from, and it's only about a year old. It is well worth saving.

This also brings up another issue of mine - I would always get two pairs of pants with a cornerstone item like this. For an operation as big as Brooks, it should be an option.

How big is the tear?

These guys might be able to save them.

Thanks a lot for the link!

Have you used them? They look very promising.

I have a couple pair of suede gloves that require minor repairs, and hope these folks might be able to manage them. On one the stitching has become loose at a point. And the other has a small tear that I would think could just be stitched closed.

I've used them for a few sweaters and it literally is "without a trace"!

I've never used them for leather or suede repair but if the quality of the work is anything like it is with fabric, I would imagine it would be fine.

I used them a number of years ago for a pair of gab trousers. Would have to search long and hard for the site of repair. I ungrew the trousers before the repair wore ou
