Woke up this morning to the sad news of the passing of comedian Bernie Mac this morning only to catch the news flash at 7pm on CNN that Isaac Hayes was found dead today. What a sad loss to the entertainment industry and fans like me. May their souls rest in peace!

Not to be morbid, but as celebrity deaths tend to come in "threes," who's next? Keith Richards wasn't looking too healthy the last I saw him...but then again, he hasn't looked healthy in 40 years!

When people find out I am from Memphis they always mention Elvis. I reply that other greats came out of my home city.

Isaac Hayes was one of the greatest.

Bernie Mac was always funny, and never went for the cheap laugh.

Both will be missed.
