I have a red (not bright red!) Bow tie in a prince of Wales check. (As in, the check itself is red)

I'd appreciate any coat/shirt/trouser suggestions for what would go well with this.

If that's the bow tie it will work with practically any solid colored jacket. Blue, grey, green, white, black you name it.

The POW pattern is one of the more adaptable patterns allowing it to also be paired with some other patterns, on a case-by-case basis.

If you don't mind fuzzing it up a bit, you might try it with some like these -

I also have a similar bow tie, but with a pink (very light...not hot pink!) background. The check itself is a dark red. Is there anything this will go well with or does it need condemning to sartorial hell?
