I have a pair of well-cared-for brown AE split toe blutcher with a rubber sole that I wear with anything from jeans/polo to wool slacks/sport coat/tie. For "versatile", I think that's pretty good. Much more so than my brown AE leather sole wingtips or AE leather sole wingtip-kilted-tassel loafers in oxblood. I still can't think of a good time to wear those!
I recently purchased a Footjoy brown blucher from the casual blems section of golflocker.com - it is very well constructed and a steal for a US made shoe at $89.... I posted some pictures in the trad WAYWT thread and the Trad footwear picture thread. Sizes are limited but you might want to take a look to see if you get lucky.
