A customer came in with a pair of 8 year old shell cordovan handsewns with an unusual last (almost like a modified, but not as defined). All the marking were worn off, but the size was marked 12 1/2D.
It really looked like an Alden, but to my knowledge Alden always marked their shoes with two widths, in this case it would be 12 1/2 B/D.
Could it have been an AE? Or even a RL? Thanks for your help.
