God! I forgot that Browning King had a branch in Ithaca,
where I spent the years 1958-62. Also included was an
ad from John Lewton, arguably the best mens shop in Ithaca,
on a par with Paul Stuart at the time, though on a smaller
scale: "Ivy League" but with a bit more flare than Press/Brooks.

My Family

President William Hull Browning, whose estate at Rye, N. Y. , had grown less and less active. There were no Kings left in the firm. President Browning started to put his company into receivership, listing himself as a $486,000 creditor. Browning, King toppled into bankruptcy. May 21, 1934.

Nice! A high school friend of mine did his PhD work at Cornell - I have had many fun visits to Ithaca. Almost did my graduate work at IC as well

Keeping my eye on this thread regarding a potential unexpected Browning family reunion?
