I'm in the market for a pair of good leather/suede or peccary gloves. I'm looking for something of quality that last me a few years. I don't mind spending Hermes money if I can get 8 to 10 years out of it... Most other gloves I've bought in the past turn ugly after not too long.

Here are a few I have came across so far. any suggestion would be appreciated. I've heard positive things about Chester Jeffries but their shipping is slow. Thank you in advance!

I have been happy with my Merola gloves purchased when on sale from No Man Walks Alone. Worth checking out their website.

I bought a pair of peccary gloves from O'Connell's 5 or 6 years ago and they've held up very well. I believe mine have a cashmere lining and I'm surprised at how much of the lining is still there after heavy usage during all these years.

Just a few days ago I was looking on their site because I was thinking of getting a second pair in a different color but it looks like they don't offer as many versions in the peccary leather anymore. I seem to recall that they had 5 or 6 different shades in peccary in the past but they currently only have one.

May sound strange, but go to Ebay and search under Vintage gloves.

Some years back, I got some vintage grey suede gloves. Very dressy, very difficult for me to find in contemporary offerings, and superb with charcoal or navy overcoats.

If you’re going peccary shouldn’t you get them unlined to experience the leather? That’s the point right?

Anyway, I bought a non-peccary pair from Chester Jeffries and have been very pleased. They were excellent quality for the price.
