I adhere to the dogma that one must polish the soles of one's shoes.
In this rather recondite practice there is an elegance, and subtle pride involved which leaves one a very content person.
Why should one ignore the largely unseen, and lavish attention on the patently ostensible? Akin, perhaps, to flamboyant suit linings, or leather goods with an inner lining of say, an acid yellow or magenta.
Does anyone else share my enthusiasm?
