Pocket Knives--thoughts

I usually just use the 2-1/4" little Swiss Army knife attached to my keys but am thinking about buying a snazzier one to give as a gift, one that may become a bit of an heirloom. What are your thoughts on the "gentleman's pocket knife?" There are so many out there.
