Hello.

I'm looking for an inexpensive (<$150) lightweight (<2.5lbs) brown briefcase that I can use to carry my small (13") laptop, a small (7" x 9" x 4") insulated container for lunch, a sweater, and incidentals (sunglasses, pens, etc). It should have a shoulder strap and not look like an over-sized women's handbag. I am open to various materials (leather, canvas, ...) but have a preference for simple, clean lines.

Is anyone aware of specific, decent quality bags meeting my criteria?

Thank you.

Custom Hides 1945 Army (laptop) Briefcase design is one that I have enjoyed for several years now. It is shockingly well made, has plenty of capacity, showcases a number of decidedly useful storage features and while the cost is not insubstantial, during it's period in my use, the bag has proven to be a very good value. www.customhides.com. Good luck in your hunt! ;)

Great suggestion by eagle!

To fit your price point, I would also suggest looking on Ebay. a few years ago looking on Ebay.

Happy Hunting!
