Just received a pair. Top recommendation. I usually wear a US 10D. Some reviews said these fit large, so I order a 9.5. PC wisely sent a 9 (no indication on box if it was a UK 9 or US 9 or whatever) BUT these look wonderful and fit wonderfully. No heel slippage! May end up getting a tan pair as well.

Thanks for the review! I'll take a look at them.

UK sizes are usually a full size larger than the same American size. And most UK sellers/makers will so recommend. I wear a U.S. size 10D, and have numerous UK shoes in size 10 with a standard fitment. (Width)

Yes, you are correct about the full one size down difference with my foot, I have issues that transcend that simple distinction. I have returned for exchange so many shoes to the UK, that it was a pleasant surprise that these fit so well out of the box. A classic example in my experience is the C&J Portman 3 vs. the Selbourne - same last, but I was a UK 9 in the former and a UK 9.5 in the latter. Go figure.
