This week I changed a customers shirt buttons from nice thick trochas buttons to plastic.

Why?

After three washings his laundry had chipped half of the buttons on the shirt. I had never seen this happen to these buttons like this before.

I love a nice thick, not borelli thick, those are just ugly, MOP or Trochas button. I actually like them when the shirt is several years old and the button has worn down a bit.

But really, very few American men are at home pressing their shirts. A good plastic button will last for the life of the shirt, and rarely crack or break.
