Peaked lapels for tall people?

Are single breasted peaked lapels appropriate for tall (6'3"), thin (180 lbs) men? Either three button (roll two) or two button.

I am thinking of having one made but I'm concerned that it may over-emphasize my height. I would probably throw a ticket pocket in there to break things up a bit, but I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter.

Also, is there any reason why a vest would be inappropriate for a suit with a ticket pocket?
