I recently purchased this silk dupioni Oxxford suit on eBay:
It arrived yesterday, and I realized upon opening the package that I know absolutely nothing about this material. It appeared to be a bit dullish--though my knowledge is so limited that this could perhaps be the "normal" luster of such material.
I'd appreciate any feedback from the forum. Would you describe this suit as being in good or excellent condition? Is this how dupioni silk should look? What characteristics should I be paying attention to in judging the quality and condition of the material?
Help! I want to love the suit, but I'm afraid of falling in love with a lie!
