Opinions on this shoe

What do you all think of this shoe as a knock-around shoe? It seems to have a Polo-rebranded Dainite studded sole (you can see the pics of the sole if you click "More Images" under the shoe picture). Anyone know who makes this shoe? I'm not even sure where it's made.

How do Dainite studded soles hold up? They seem far sturdier than average rubber soles.

In general, what's the concensus on suede lace-ups in general? Suede brogues/semi-brogues? Suede loafers? I am also curious how trad a suede shoe in any of the above styles is. It will not affect my decision to buy -- I'm just curious.
