About 10 or 12 years ago I was shopping for shoes in Horrids and was recommended a plain but elegant shoe by Oliver Sweeney. The fit was very good, though the leather was fairly stiff, so they were seldom my first choice shoes. Nevertheless over the years the leather softened somewhat and they are now very comfortable indeed, though as they are plain, I still don't wear them as often as some of my others (EG, C&J, AE). They've only had to be resoled once, they still look fairly new, and so overall I've been very impressed.
Noting that they never seem to get mentioned here, I went onto their website, to discover that they are now supposedly terribly fashionable, and their styles appear very different from when I bought mine.
Has anyone else here tried/bought OS more recently ?
