I like nice pocket squares. And over the last 50 years have amassed a fair collection. They don't wear out, and they really don't go out of style either. (And I've never outgrown one!
) As such purchases are all really an extravagance for me any longer, I've purchased very few recently. And while I know lower cost alternatives exist, I must confess to having been seduced by some of the beautiful but ridiculously costly versions offered by Drakes.
Most of my PS collection has come from Paul Stuart. And they still have many nice ones, but with the prices of some being $30 or $40 north of the already extravagant cost of Drakes, a serious no-go. Well, they're having a sale, and as tends to happen with such things, most aren't to my taste but a few are, notably those quite similar to Drakes at the bottom of page 2, and also on pages 3 and 4. And at $34.75 to $39.75, quite a deal, and roughly only 35% of their original cost.
