This could be a good line if, and for me it's a big if......
1: The "polished" finish on the black options is any good.
2: The Blake construction doesn't prove too problematic to repair.
Get those two wrong and IMHO, what's the point. Inexpensive or not, a poor quality "polished" finish will wear poorly, crease badly and look plastic. As to repairs, certainly one might question the logic in repairing a £99 shoe ( in my part of the world, a sole and heel runs about £25 ish ) it has to be worth mentioning nonetheless.
Still, if Herring's previous efforts are anything to go by, these will in all likelihood be superb value and very well executed.

They look like they're for someone, who like the name suggests, who recently graduated from college, but who has no nice shoes or clothes. These are for someone who wants to look presentable, but who also thinks of being well dressed as not a big deal. Probably not "starter" shoes for this person, but rather adequate shoes for "business" from there on out.
