Good morning.

I'm hoping someone out there can help me identity this jacket and help value. I came across it in a thrift shop. Found a very similar item for sale on O'Connell's website for over 1000.00. Thanks for any help/advice.

Hello and welcome. Invertere makes some nice coats and they can have decent resale value. Having said that everything is relative. How much did you pay? Any damage? Sold coats range from $50 to a little over $150 with nothing exactly like your coat. But, that is not to say that you could take a few photos, hop on eBay and get $150 this week. Always possible but generally only experienced sellers get maximum value and items can sit on eBay for months or longer. Coats also cost quite a bit to box and ship thus cutting down the amount you can clear. Barring something special about your item it would be unreasonable to think you could sell for $300 or more.
If you are serious about starting to flip thrifted items then you will be better off spending time on tof. Most here are not serious flippers but thrift for personal or not at all. I wish you luck.

Thank you very much for your time and advice. I appreciate it. Not really in the business of flipping. Was browsing for fun and came across coat. It seems like it was never worn, has leather buckles and seems like a great quality so curiousity got to me. I started web surfing and was intrigued. Have a great day

@Johnwagner - Can you upload a clearer photo of the coat? The first photo is blurry.

If you can, I'll post this on our FB page as well and see if anyone there can help you identify the potential value. Maybe people in our Trad forum would know as well, so I'll see if there's a way to notify those browsing Trad of this thread as well.

It has a label sewn inside left side that says Louis berkeley shop. Maybe where it was sold? The buckles are wrapped in real leather. Seems like a high quality coat. I've found some information on the web but nothing quite the same. Really appreciate your time and help
