Navy linen blazer with silver crest

Hi guys, I'm new here as well as in the world of male permanent fashion.

I'm looking into buying this Michael Kors 2-button navy blazer and replacing the standard buttons with silver button crests. I'll be wearing this mostly during the daytime in the summer with low-rising dark blue jeans.





The slight issue I have is that the blazer is lightweight and thus the buttons might feel heavier than it should be. Though I like the overall look, anything conspicuously metallic on clothes during a summer day might exaggerate how hot (in temperature) I am.

Any thoughts from you guys on this?
