I just ordered this, but can still return it if needed. Regular $299.00, I purchased it for $69.00 using a $30.00 coupon on top of its sale price.

I want to wear it with chinos and wool trousers. Colors I will be using for chinos are navy, cream, different tans, British Tan, dark grey. Colors I will be using for wool trousers are navy, charcoal grey, black, brown/grey.

Can this also be worn in the summer?

It is 38% polyester, but 52% wool. Does the polyester make it cheap enough to avoid?

Do you feel this will meet my needs as a versatile sports coat that can be worn year round with the colors mentioned?

$69.00? If it fits you and feels comfortable, keep it.

Again, the operative words: "fits" and "comfortable."

I wouldn't wear navy trousers with the jacket, however. I just don't see how navy trousers and an olive sport coat would be compatible. Not optimal in any case. But if they pair up well in your eyes, go ahead.

I think it’s fine and a good deal. About as good at that price as one can get.

As for versatility, you can go from chinos to jeans to wool slacks. Given the color it’s definitely a fall and winter jacket.

Biggest question I have is how's the fit?

I used to like Nautica shirts, the way they were cut just seemed to work for me, I think they were biggish around the torso.

Oh, I just had a look at the link, it says "trim, modern fit". So never mind!

Very nice looking jacket. You mentioned cream chinos as one of the options you'll wear it with. That will look great. And if I may make a recommendation; complete the outfit with a lavender shirt. Olive jacket/cream trousers/lavender shirt looks fantastic in my opinion.

Thank you all very much for your replies. I did get the jacket and had the sleeves tailored. Jacket seemed to fit well otherwise. The color turned out to be more brown and less green than in the photo, but overall, I am happy with it.
