22 is pinhead. 23 looks like some sort of broken twill.

The scale of the pattern (when it's the same exact pattern) has to do with the size of the yarns used to weave the cloth.

I think leather jackets go better with denim!

This broken twill isn't heavy, it's a medium weight fabric. I think it would pair nicely with medium weight gabardine.
