Hello gentlemen
Most enjoyable - and addictive - lines of enquiry on these boards, thank you all for some very interesting reading. My work of late is definitely suffering. For the record I very much appreciate your (in the main) adherence to complete sentences and full punctuation - a joy to read!
My upcoming wedding brings a question - I'm investigating purchase of rtw or mtm waistcoat to accompany my recently inherited morning suit (locally tailored, two generations old) and have approached Gieves & Hawkes for prices - cost is an issue but something from Savile Row even if not bespoke would be fun just this once.
Very impressed with the Prince of Wales' party's recent cut of waistcoat (db and lapels) hence the G&H inquiry. Any further thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated... as to colour I'm favouring buff over dove grey at present.
Protagonists as below so you know who's jib is being cut (or whatever)
