I found a jacket by Micucci Tailors (30 E. 60th, NYC) at my local thrift store today. Almost certainly 100% cashmere, in a black/white houndstooth with a green and mustard overplaid. It is double vented, handsewn throughout, ticket pocket, three handsewn working sleeve buttons with black enamel Holland and Sherry buttons with gold oak leaves on them, two button front with the same Holland and Sherry buttons. It was made thirteen years ago, according to the label. It may or may not be able to be altered to my size, but for $5.99 it was worth a shot.

The question is this: has anyone ever heard of Micucci Tailors? There was a lot of work put into this jacket, so I'm interested in learning a little more about the maker.

Regards,

Charles
