In my experience, Michael Spencer shirts (and service) are absolutely top notch.

Sizing is based on brooks brothers models. They're made in the Garland shirt factory which makes BB miusa stuff. Most (all?) customization doesn't cost extra. I like mine a lot. Quality is equivalent to Brooks MTM stuff.

I have 2 at the moment, and plan on purchasing more in the future. As much as I love Mercer, the order process with Michael Spencer is so much easier (read e-commerce), and I find the shirts to be of similar quality. As previously mentioned, the customization is a big plus.
