I posted a thread about my first upcoming medical school interview a few days ago, and I would like to thank everyone who game me these great ideas. I would specially like to thank the medical school professors and physicians who contributed to my thread.
The single most important thing I learned was to dress conservative.
The second thing I learned was do a little something extra to stand out. I would like to talk more about this. What are some minor things I can do to add on to my conservative suit to give me that extra "kick" for a first impression?
One more thing, I just want to say that I am absolutely clueless about professional attire suits. I am just beginning to enter this professional world.
Are there any places where you fashion "pros" recommend me to go to purchase my first suit? Any websites where I can absorb more information? Is spending $200 on a suit reasonable, or am I being cheap? Are department stores like JCPenny's a good place to go for my new suit?
Thanks everyone!!!
P.S. The first of my 2 interviews will be April 18th. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!![xx(][xx(]
