Good Day,
I want to acquire a Gilet made with the Loro Piana Storm System. Originally I wanted to purchase the Fillmore Gilet (https://ch.loropiana.com/en/p/man/vests/fillmore-gilet-FAM5101?colorCode=W000) until I saw the Pricetag of 4'000 Bucks.

I have looked into Carvour, Paul Shark, Brioni, Pini Parma. But none of these has been to my content. Now I found a Gilet from Brooks but I'm sure someone must be selling a cheaper alternative to the Fillmore Gilet for around 500 Bucks. The Carvour Gilet looks tremendous but costs a lot of money.

Thanks

Is a gilet with sleeves no longer a gilet? Yes, the cashmere Storm System from LP is phenomenal, but maybe not at phenomenal as the price, which is astronomical. Exactly at $500 is this sleeved gilet from James Perse, which is a decent copy of the gilet worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Spectre:
I own gilets in a variety of materials and brands, and would politely caution that fit can be exceedingly challenging, and easy to go from fashionable layered man about town to Michelin Man or even worse Marshmallow Man!
